Demineralization Plant
Demineralization Plant
Demineralization Plant helps to eradicate all dissolve minerals present in the water and makes it portable. The water is treated with electrically and exchange of ions in the presence of driven membrane. The tank where the demineralization occurs, is purified by filtering with the help of beads of synthetic resin. The beads are chemically treated to absorb cations or anions.
Types of Demineralizers
a) Membrane Demineralizers - Membranes are physical entity that separates positive and negative charged particles. Sometimes through this membrane electrical energy is passed to purify the water. The common example of this is Reverse Osmosis treatment.
b) Mobile Demineralizers - The final step of demineralization where after reverse osmosis is perfomed.
c) Mixed Bed Dimineralization - The process involves anions and cations to be mixed into a single tank. This process is resulted into more purified water and often used as a post treatment for Reverse Osmosis.

Nuclear and thermal power
Pharmaceutical
